  • YOUR D.I.Y. LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL IN DOWNTOWN TORONTO

ABOUT OPEN TUNING MUSIC FESTIVAL

Open Tuning is a free DIY festival celebrating live music that will take place on June 11th, 2016, from 2p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Seaton Village, Toronto.    Inspired by “La fete de la musique” in Paris France, the 3rd annual Open Tuning  invites amateur and professional Musicians from all genres and ages to perform at neighbourhood venues such as porches, alleyways, garages and street corners.   Audiences can wander Seaton Village streets, enjoying seasoned artists or cheering-on complete beginners – even discovering casual gigs by international recording artists.

All Open Tuning concerts are free to the public. Last year over 70 acts donated their time for free. The Festival is community driven and 100% independent, accepting no corporate sponsorship, advertising or compensation.
