Six String Nation
What connects a grade 5 student with K’naan, Feist and astronaut Chris Hadfield? They are among the hundreds of thousands of people who have engaged with Voyageur - the Six String Nation guitar - at festivals, conferences, clubs, community events and school presentations in every province and territory of Canada.

Comprising more than 60 pieces of history and heritage representing different cultures, communities and characters from every part of the country, the project was conceived by Peabody Award winning Toronto broadcaster Jowi Taylor and took 11 years to bring to life. Jowi's moving and inspiring multimedia presentation about the project weaves together the stories embedded in the guitar with its travels since its 2006 Canada Day debut on Parliament Hill and invites audiences to  discover the myriad ways we are connected to one another as Canadians.
